➊ The Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME)

The Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization that aims to support and promote medical journalism in the Asia Pacific Region. APAME achieves its goal by fostering networking, education, discussion, and exchange of information and knowledge among medical journal editors in the region and globally. The Association is closely affiliated with the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific, which hosts the Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), and the WHO Regional Office for South East Asia. APAME also encourages cooperation with other international associations in the field of medical journal publishing, such as the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Eastern Mediterranean Association of Medical Editors (EMAME), and Forum for African Medical Editors (FAME).
The vision of APAME is to promote healthcare in the Asia Pacific Region through the dissemination of high-quality knowledge and information on medicine. The mission of the Association is to contribute to the improvement of health in the region by ensuring the quality and dissemination of health-related information published in medical journals, which are utilized for better decision-making and effective delivery of health services.

To achieve its mission and vision, APAME has the following objectives:

• Encourage collaboration and facilitate communication among medical journal editors in the region and globally.
• Improve editorial standards and promote professionalism in medical editing through education, self-assessment, and self-governance.
• Facilitate research writing and peer-review processes through training workshops, seminars, and other activities.
• Foster the continuing education of medical journals editors, reviewers, editorial staff, publishers, and librarians in the region.
• Through these objectives, APAME seeks to advance medical journalism in the Asia Pacific Region and promote the dissemination of high-quality, evidence-based health information for the betterment of public health.

➋ Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue UMP), Hue city, Vietnam

The University offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including General Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Preventive Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Techniques, Medical Imaging Techniques, and Midwifery. With an annual enrollment of 1,500 students and 96 postgraduate majors, the University is dedicated to providing students with the best possible training.

The University is also home to the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, which was established in 2002 with a capacity of 400 beds and has since expanded to 700 beds. The Hospital is one of the top medical centers in the province and provides medical care to the local community, as well as serving as a training ground and research center for the University.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy is located in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Hue, providing students and staff with a healthy, friendly, and stimulating learning environment.

Hue Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy, under the managed of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, operates as a press under license number 1720/GP-BTTTT dated November 15, 2010. It has been granted an ISSN code number of 1859/3836 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, according to Decision No. 009/TTKHCN-ISSN dated March 22, 2011.

This journal is a unique and professional platform for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy to disseminate its scientific research results, as well as to provide updates on the fields of medicine and pharmacy for health workers across the Central, Central Highlands, and the entire country.
The Journal published six issues per year in Vietnamese and twice per year in English, and is widely distributed across the nation. All manuscript has undergone a peer-review process with double-blind reviewers.
With a rigorous and scientific review process, featuring reviews from prominent scientists in the fields of medicine and pharmacy both domestically and internationally, the Journal has been approved and ranked in the list of Scientific Journals, with a score of 0-1.0 points per work in the scientific list of the Council of Medical Professors and 0-0.75 points per work in the scientific list of the Council of Professors of Pharmacy.
Our vision is for Hue Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy to be indexed in both ACI and Scopus by 2025 and within the next three years, respectively.
